He constantly works together
with the most prestigeous baroque ensembles, such as Il Giardino
Armonico, Accademia Bizantina, La Risonanza, Zefiro, Al Ayre Español, and conductors, such as Giovanni Antonini,
Ottavio Dantone, Fabio Bonizzoni, Alfredo Bernardini, Robert King. With them he
played concerts in Italy and abroad for the most important music festivals and
concert seasons.
He has recorded several CDs, two among them with Il
Giardino Armonico for the label Teldec. The CD “Händel: Lucrezia” (Stradivarius Dulcimer, STR 33424) with soprano Roberta Invernizzi and the
ensemble Retablo Barocco has got the nomination for the International
Recording Prize “Antonio Vivaldi” and the 9R from the magazine “Répertoire”.

In the academic year 1996-97 he has got the Degree in Musical
History and Didactics at the High School of Musical Paleography and Philology in
Cremona, Italy (University of Pavia), grade 70/70 cum laude, with a
thesis about the transverse flute. After that he also devotes himself to the
musicological research, particularly on the history of musical instruments,
collaborating with some specialized reviews. 1997 he has been invited to give
some seminars about the history of the flute at the High School of Musical
Paleography and Philology in Cremona. He also gave several concert-lessons at
the Musical Instruments Museum of Castello Sforzesco in Milan, playing some
flutes from that collection.
He regularly teaches baroque, classical and modern flute. April-May 2005 he has been invited to teach a
Traverso Masterclass at "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Como, Italy.
